Tour del Marañon (Ride to Africa Mia Zoo)

Leaving city of Liberia we will ride along and old road that comunicated Liberia with the town of Bagaces and was used by ox cart drivers and buisness men in the colonial period. This road was known as the ¨Royal Road¨.
We will go through forest, farm land and some rivers, where you will be able to see birds, iguanas, squirrels, and maybe a few monkeys!

Half way through the tour we will arrive at the famous zoo,  Africa Mia, where there will be a snack waiting for you, after which you can enjoy the safari style tour of the zoo. You will be able to see Jiraffes, Zebras,  Ostriches, and other African species. (Note: the tour does not include the entrance fee or any other fees at the Zoo)

After walking with and taking lots of pictures of the animals,  we will continue with our ride back but on a different route which is very nice too, going through fields and mango plantations, to end our ride back in Liberia.


This tour has a distance of  25KM and is recommended for any person that knows how to ride a bike.
